Créé en Juillet 1980, xUlFni fait du son et continuera jusqu’à ce qu’il ne puisse plus . . .
Il est indissociable, pierres angulaires d’un univers rhizomique composant lui-même (comme tout le monde en fait) façonné au gré des aventures et rencontres musicales qu’il a pu vivre, un objet hybride, aux multiples facettes, à l’approche purement sonore … et rythmique.
Complètement adepte des improvisations libres ou improvisations non-idiomatiques, sous forme de musiques électro-acoustiques et concrètes, xUlFni a besoin d’exploration libre et sans contraintes de paysages, ou masses sonores, créés, improvisés absolument dans l’instant.

He is undissociable, cornerstones of a rhizomic universe -as anyone else actually- moulded according to his ventures in sound and to the fellow explorers he encounters…Thousand-faced object, hybrid material, with only sound and rythm in mind….
Totally into free and unidiomatic improvisations…. xUlFni needs free wandering through sound, without any pre-established landscapes, an exploration filled with sonorous masses, created, absolutely improvised, tuned in to the very moment…

L’album Colorifique part du principe que xUlFni a voulu rebondir sur le fait qu’il devait se faire à l’idée de construire quelque chose de beau. S’en est suivi de 1 an de divagation cérébrale et de prise de son de moments de sa vie pour se lancer enfin dans une composition en improvisation 12 jours avant la sortie qu’il s’était fixée, le 12 décembre 2008.
The album Colorifique takes it for granted that xUlFni wanted to bounce on the fact that he had to get used to the idea of building something beautiful. Then followed a year of cerebral wandering and sound recording of moments of his life to eventually get into an improvised compisition 12 days before the release which he was to fix, on December 12th, 2008.
